The New Jersey School Board Association Insurance Group (NJSBAIG) has purchased the ImageRight document management system.
ImageRight will reportedly help NJSBAIG handle its high claims volumes and provide better service to its constituents in the New Jersey school districts. The association went live in mid-March.
“We chose ImageRight because it’s intended for the insurance industry and provides built-in workflow,” said Jeff Cook, IT manager. “Most other vendors we reviewed just offer archiving. ImageRight’s insurance industry oriented workflow handles all different document types and flows.”
“This nonprofit insurer serves about 60 percent of the state’s school districts and handles a high volume of workers’ compensation and liability claims,” said Mike Fess, Implementation Team manager at ImageRight. “They’ll get better control of their documents and give everyone instant access to electronic files instead having to hunt for paper files.”
The mission of the NJSBAIG, a nonprofit school insurance pool, is to provide the availability of insurance to the New Jersey school districts by offering the best coverage at the lowest possible cost and by providing insurance education and risk management services. It is a nonprofit public entity, a joint insurance fund.
