Chevy Chase, Md.-based Schinnerer recently released the Surveyor’s Terms and Conditions Review Guide, a publication to help surveyors review their contracts for potential risk. The guide points out potentially troublesome sections found in typical contracts and offers sample provisions.
Topics covered include compensation, dispute resolution, contract termination and hazardous environmental conditions.
The Surveyor’s Terms and Conditions Review Guide is part of a series of contract guides published for many specialty niches within the Schinnerer program. It is available to all NA/Schinnerer-insured surveyors.
The surveyor’s guide was produced as a supplement to The Surveyor’s Contracts and Risk Management Manual, published jointly by Schinnerer and the American Congress on Surveying and Mapping (ACSM). This manual is free to CNA/Schinnerer policyholders. Non-policyholders can purchase the manual through the ACSM’s Web site, www.acsm.net.
