A food company is recalling pistachios sold in Los Angeles under the label Wild Rose because they could be contaminated with salmonella.
Season Produce Co. of Los Angeles says the packages of roasted and salted shelled pistachios were sold between Jan. 28 and March 28.
No illnesses have been reported to date for the product.
Salmonella can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections, especially in young children, the elderly and those with weakened immune systems.
