San Diego, CA, December 9, 2014 – Atlas General Insurance Services, LLC, a national multi-line program manager, welcomes Clark Lawrence as the new vice president of marketing for the eastern region.
In his new role, Lawrence will be responsible for developing Atlas’ current agency base and managing distribution throughout the eastern region. This will include a special focus on growing business in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Ohio and Tennessee. Lawrence will work with Atlas’ program managers to support existing programs as well as develop new proprietary and exclusive workers’ compensation, general liability, and package programs. Clark will also manage the eastern region’s marketing and underwriting teams to ensure strategic oversight and development.
Lawrence comes to Atlas with over 25 years of underwriting, claims and marketing experience in the national workers’ compensation market. Most recently, Lawrence was the assistant vice president, workers’ compensation underwriting officer for Companion Property and Casualty Company in Columbia, South Carolina. Prior to that, he successfully managed, developed, and marketed programs for CompTrust AGC and United States Fidelity & Guaranty Company.
