James Norris is the New Chief Actuary at Atlas General Insurance Services, LLC

San Diego, Calif. (Feb. 18, 2014) – Atlas General Insurance Services, LLC, a national multi-line program manager, welcomes James Norris to the team as its chief actuary. In his position, Norris will be responsible for Atlas’ actuarial and analytic areas while helping to identify and research profitable growth opportunities nationwide. Norris will be based in Dallas, Texas.

Norris joins Atlas with over 20 years of actuarial experience. He is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst. Prior to joining Atlas, Norris was the president of Lapis Resources, where he performed actuarial consulting for a variety of insurance and reinsurance companies as well as Atlas.
