San Diego, Calif. (Jan. 6, 2014) – Atlas General Insurance Services, LLC, a national multi-line program manager, welcomes Ryan Clarkson to the team as the new chief operating officer. In his position, Clarkson will be responsible for strategic operations, including the integration of new programs and lines of business into Atlas’ existing platform. Clarkson will also be responsible for enhancing information technology service offerings and enforcing company service standards and regulatory compliance.
Clarkson joins Atlas with over 13 years of experience in information technology, systems, operations management, product development and cross-functional team leadership with leading Fortune 500 companies. Prior to joining Atlas, Clarkson served as the senior director at UnitedHealth Group. In his role, he was responsible for strategic IT initiatives, organizational development, controlling programs and employee engagement. As the senior director, he was able to reduce annual operating costs for UnitedHealth Group by $170 million, while improving customer satisfaction and retention.
