Irvine, California, September 2011 – The Insco Dico Group announced the promotions of Blaine Williamson to Senior Vice President of Field Operations and Dan Young to Senior Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer.
Blaine Williamson has been with The Insco Dico Group for 21 years, acting as Branch Manager and Regional Vice President. He is a graduate of the University of Portland. Chairman, Harry Crowell, said “Blaine has made tremendous contributions to our success. His drive for positive results and excellence has had a substantial impact on our success over the years.” Blaine operates from Insco’s Portland Branch, providing oversight for our Portland, Seattle, Denver, Boise, Glendale, San Diego and Phoenix offices.
Dan Young has been in the surety industry for over 25 years. He has been with The Insco Dico Group for 16 years, serving as Senior Underwriter, Las Vegas Branch Manager and for the past 7 years, Vice President of Subdivision in the Home Office. He graduated from Iowa State University, with a degree in Business Administration-Finance and holds an AFSB designation from the Insurance Institute of America.
As Chief Underwriting Officer, Dan will oversee the Underwriting and Service Departments in the Home Office and direct nationwide surety underwriting activities.
