A report by the National Transportation Safety Board says an incorrectly installed fuel system part may have contributed to a helicopter crash in Honolulu last year.
The Robinson R22 Beta helicopter operated by Mauna Loa Helicopters lost power and made a hard landing on May 8, 2013, on Fort Street.
The helicopter hit an unoccupied car. No serious injuries were reported.
The Honolulu Star-Advertiser reports the report focused on an incorrect installation of a spring in the fuel system.
The NTSB has not released a probable cause report on the crash.
