A girl who was fatally injured in a playground accident at a Vancouver, Wash., school has been identified as 7-year-old Stormy Solis.
The Columbian reports the Multnomah County medical examiner’s office said she died of a closed head injury.
KATU reported the girl walked home from Fisher’s Landing Elementary School last week and told her family there had been an accident on a swing set and she felt dizzy.
When a brother later found her sick, she was taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center and then to Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland where doctors took her off life support Friday.
The Evergreen School District said no one saw the accident.
