Two people left hanging 20 to 30 feet in the air when a tree fell onto a roller coaster’s tracks have sued Six Flags Magic Mountain, seeking unspecified damages.
The Los Angeles Times reports Jeremy Ead and Olivia Feldman filed a lawsuit Wednesday, alleging that the park’s neglect caused the ride to be “dangerous, defective, hazardous and unsafe.”
Ead told reporters after the accident that a tree branch hit him in the head as he rode the coaster, leaving him bleeding.
The lawsuit seeks money to cover legal costs, medical bills and lost earnings.
A representative for Six Flags declined to comment.
It took nearly three hours for all 22 of the stranded riders on the Ninja coaster to be rescued Monday night.
