Orange County, Calif., authorities say nobody was hurt in a fire that gutted a Johnny Rockets restaurant and two other concessions at Knott’s Berry Farm.
Fire Authority Capt. Steve Concialdi says the blaze was reported around 2:20 a.m. Wednesday in a structure that houses the restaurant, a laser tag area and an arcade.
He says the fire apparently began as a result of a welder’s torch during work inside the building.
Several construction workers were inside at the time but all escaped without injury.
The flames were doused within an hour.
Concialdi says damages are estimated at about $170,000.
