Two firefighters suffered minor injuries after a Colorado Springs home was destroyed by fire despite the efforts of more than 50 firefighters.
Authorities say strong winds and blowing snow required help to prevent the fire from spreading to neighboring homes. The fire was reported under control Tuesday morning.
Firefighters tell KKTV-TV the fire started in the fireplace of the home and the family managed to escape.
