A California company is recalling 16,000 pounds of ready-to-eat deli meat products that may be contaminated with Listeria.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service announced the recall Friday.
Vernon-based Rose & Shore Meat Co. says it is recalling packages of its Olympic Gold Beef Pastrami, Rose and Shore N.Y. Style Pastrami, Cooked Angus Roast Beef and Togo’s Pastrami. The products were distributed to food service establishments in Arizona, California, Nevada, Oregon and Washington. There were no retail sales.
The company says it tested product at the request of a commercial customer after receiving a consumer complaint.
Agricultural officials say they have received no confirmed reports of illnesses associated with the products.
