A Southern California distributor is voluntarily recalling about 7,000 hooded children’s sweatshirts that pose a strangulation risk.
Propac Distributing Corp. said that the recall covers Proclub brand sweatshirts that has a zipper and pullover hood with drawstrings. They were sold at retail stores in Los Angeles and Las Vegas from November to December 2008.
The Gardena, Calif.-based company says consumers should remove the drawstring from the sweatshirts or return the garment for a full refund.
