Authorities said a fire at a printer in northeast Los Angeles caused millions in damage and left one woman injured.
Spokeswoman d’Lisa Davies said the fire in the Atwater Village area near Glendale broke out at a one-story commercial building that houses Systems Trade Printing. It took 126 firefighters about 40 minutes to put it out.
The blaze hit high voltage wires, forcing firefighters to back away from the building, and rail traffic had to be temporarily stopped on nearby tracks.
One woman was treated at the scene then taken to a hospital. Fire authorities had no information on her condition.
Davies said the damage to the building was estimated at $300,000, and the lost contents of the building were worth $3.5 million.
