Federal officials approved $3.8 million for disaster assistance to Oregon counties affected by the severe storms in early December.
The money will cover federal disaster assistance costs, and low interest Small Business Administration loans.
So far, 1,804 individuals have registered for federal assistance, and nearly 900 affected homes have been inspected.
The federal government has sent up disaster recovery centers in Vernonia, St. Helens, Tillamook and Seaside.
