your tone is so condescending and illogical. you should watch out that rhetoric because it will get you labeled as a racist!

It is funny how on one side you blast the illegal mexican workers for being here illegally usurping “our jobs” and our land (forgetting that we kicked out the indians before), and on the other hand you talk about protecting the mexicans from exploitation. How hypocritical can you be my friend? Look yourself in the mirrow and be honest with your conscience!

The poor mexican laborer come here because there isn’t work in mexico not because they feel welcomed here. They would prefer to stay there for the most part but necessity forces them to seek work! Don’t you have to work to feed yourself and your family too? How foreign is that concept my friend? What kind of country are we building walls and fences all over the place? Are we going to be the new East Germany or Soviet Gulag? Stop being afraid of mexicans. they are not the terrorists!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They just want to work. And I totally disagree with you about americans wanting the hard labor jobs. I know construction managers and farmers and both swear that americans can’t and don’t work as hard as these poor mexicans. If you don’t believe me go and find our for yourself. Americans have become complacent, lazy, and fat. We are far from what our forefathers used to be.

It looks like you just branded me as a racist, even though I’ve said nothing about race. Ok, I’m a racist and you’re a communist pedophile. Happy?

You are putting words in my mouth, typical of someone who has no point to make and can’t defeat his opponent honestly.

Look up “mirror” in the dictionary. Also look up libarry and chimley. You are incapable of rational thought. No more responses will be forthcoming.

back to the issue at hand:

we can always say a glass is 1/2 empty or full. but when u truly look at labor, is it not the americans that are to blame? u told us that mexicans are taking jobs for less pay…..what are truly saying or not saying – is that we have so many folks that on welfare that could be working these jobs, but decided not to because they love the gift of money. $$ for no labor. if we get a job and do a good job at it, then their pay will increase.

now look at CHINA, they tried to bypass our standards and some of the companies looked the other way or did not test the items. and now, looks like they will have to find another place to produce these items. why not bring it back to the USA and increase the jobs w/in america. get folks out of poverty and off of welfare. again, it goes back to being legal workforce.

    Dude,

I am italian/irish/catholic. My beliefs tell me to be kind and compassionate with those less fortunate. This includes the poor illegal mexican laborer. I don’t care what you say, call me, or believe. There are many people like me in this country and this is why this is still a great country. My irish and italian ancestors came to new york illegally. Should I send their remains back to europe because they came here illegally like tens of million other immigrants?

At my agency I have many hispanic/mexican/central american/etc customers. These people are great. They are responsible pay on time and are nice to be around. I much rather be in their company than hear your sour complaints about calamity and bad news disaster stuff. My final advice to you is be thankful that you have a job that allows you to post here and be thankful that you have all you have because it can be lost quickly. Let’s have some humility here and start helping fellow neighbor!
    goodbye

Next person who calls me a racist, without knowing me, without knowing my heart, will get a beating. I follow the rules, I raised my kids to follow the rules, and I am having a hard time explaining to them how some in our country would make excuses about why 15 million illegals are here, WITHOUT FOLLOWING THE RULES!!! Don’t give me any more crap about the disconnect between government and industry and lazy Americans. Our safety has been compromised, and the American people should throw out any elected bums who support the current situation without offering a remedy. Stupidly, blindly calling those who thoughtfully disagree with you a racist reveals the name caller for what he really is – a knee-jerk liberal who has no real argument to support his position. If you arent beyond baseless name calling at this late juncture, get out of the conversation and let others devpelop real solutions to the illegal epidemic CATASTROPHE.

Bill Richardson is an inept buffoon, the Benny Hill of the Democratic presidential field. New Mexico’s image has been severely tarnished by electing a man who couldn’t even control government secrets escaping Los Alamos, let alone govern an entire state.

Giving foreign nationals driver’s licenses with mostly unveriable foreign-origin documents and no overseas background check (!) is a gift to: 1) any hostile group setting up a terrorist attack, 2) to a drug/immigrant smuggler needing straw men/mule drivers, and 3) unscrupulous contractors hiring illegals at slave wages/no benefits to unfairly compete against honest businesses in the state. A complete disaster any way you look at it!!
