If you don\’t turn in the premium no policy is actually placed, so how would Farmers had known he was stealing premiums? Right, Farmers is evil. Come on grow up folks. Being able to read words does not show intelligence, being able to understand what was read is a sign of intelligence. I hope I didn\’t misspell anything.

This is not about Farmers. This is about personal responsibility. Ray Wersching is the criminal in this story. End of story. There are agents stealing money everyday that work for different companies, maybe someone in your own office.

His DM was probably over at his house every Saturday night drinking Corona\’s and watching Niner reruns, and laughing about Farmers. It could have happened.

Tom Tucker, all corporations have a stategy to make as much money as they can, welcome to America and welcome to capitalism. The problem here is an illegal and faudulant behavior. This doesn\’t mean Farmers Management stinks, because it does stink. But I cannot blame them for wanting to bring as much of a return to stockholders as they can, if you owned stock, wouldn\’t you want to get as much as you can out of it?

What are the qualifications to be an Agent for Farmers Insurance? Must have committed a misdemeanor or a felony? Must be a convicted felon? Agents have been getting a lot of bad press for this company.

    Farmers Insurance Sucks!

Now Farmers is mounting a campain to eliminate the older agents that have spent 20 or 30 years building their agencies, to have the renewal commissions to rely on while servicing their existing clients. Farmers provides no retirement programs for their agents but now, if you are not producing new business and selling their financial and life products, you are no longer needed. 90 day, no cause, termination. Maybe, if they would clean up their crooks, they could leave the honest agents to continue servicing what policy holders they still have.

Farmers is an outstanding company that is focused on client service and satisfaction. As a long time 49er fan and Farmers Agent, it saddens me that a former 49er is accused of unethical and illegal actins as a Farmers agent. This is absolutely no reflection on Farmers Insurance Group, their agency force, district managers, and employees. If Ray Wersching is found guilty of these charges, he should pay restitution and whatever time in prison the jury deems appropriate.

Your portrait of Farmers Insurance must be some kind of a joke, you got to be kidding. Farmers brings aboard among the most questionable agents in the industry. Some of these folks constantly lie on applications, bend the underwriting rules, steal premium money and you name it. While Ray\’s Wirsching\’s situation does not happen on a regular basis at Farmers, it does happen. You rarely ever do you see this happen at State Farm. While Famers was once a great copmany, some time in the mid 90s, Farmers took the turn for the worst and it has not been the same since. Their CEO for the previous ten years was a downright embarrassment, it is shocking that he even lasted that long. Nevertheless, it was a nice try to try to portray Farmers in the way you did, but anyone in the organization who is honest about Farmers knows their true reputation.

You are right, SayItAin\’tSo. I was unfortunately affiliated with them for nearly 30 years and can confirm what you say. There are still a few of the old agents there that are honest, but that certainly doesn\’t apply to company personnel.
