Arizona-based Preferred Medical Claim Solutions (PMCS) (www.pmcsaz.com) has contracted with RMSCO Inc. (www.rmscoinc.com), a Third Party Administrator (TPA) located in Liverpool, NY.
RMSCO, an SBPA User, has been a provider in self-funding of medical claims for nearly 25 years. RMSCO selected PMCS as their business partner to assist in the processing and advance funding of provider payments directly associated with RMSCO’s out-of-network claims.
Through the PMCS Advance Funded Provider (AFP) program, clients of RMSCO will reportedly reduce their clients medical claim expenditures without adding any additional operational administrative burden. The long-term goal of this commitment is to increase client retention and Payor savings through an expanded technology-based, medical cost containment program offered by SBPA to its users.
RMSCO is one of the latest SBPA Users to adopt PMCS’ AFP program. The AFP Program utilizes PMCS’ Preferred Data Interchange (PDI), an electronic data interchange co-developed by PMCS and SBPA on behalf of Payors utilizing the GBAS operating platform. Through PDI, SBPA users can automate and streamline the processing of out-of-network claims specifically meeting the PMCS criteria for settlement.
RMSCO is a New York State licensed claims administrator for self-funded medical, workers’ compensation, disability benefits, dental, Section 125 and liability programs.
