All of the MPN providers will have costs associated with their services. It would be good to see a list of each of them with their cost per service. There is no way that this work can be done for nothing. If insurers do it-it will be built into the price.

The fees to the employer are very high. A telephone call is $2 per; Scheduling an appt $65 per; notification letter $8 each; to mail letter and additional $2 each and it goes on and on. Many organizations are doing this work for free for their employers. Non-value added expenses are a large part of what is driving employers out of California.
Employers need to ask a lot of questions and get multiple quotes to find out who is in the business of servicing the interests of the employers.
    But, that’s just my opinion.
