Crawford & Company (www.crawfordandcompany.com) is re-establishing its presence in Southern California by its opening of a new risk management services office in Brea.
The Brea office, which will reportedly enhance Crawford’s operational and marketing abilities in California, opened in November and is being managed by industry veteran, Kathleen Brown.
Brown has 28 years of insurance industry experience, although for the last several years she worked in other industries. Most recently,
Brown was the chief of staff for the County of Ventura Board of Supervisors. In 2000, Brown worked for Erin Brockovich, the subject of the hit movie “Erin Brockovich.” Brown’s previous related experience includes branch manager, regional manager, and vice president of claims.
“I am delighted to be back into the insurance arena, and with a company that places so much emphasis on quality,” said Brown. “Crawford has always been a leader in providing services to the industry and continues to show that leadership by expanding their workers’ compensation claims operations into Southern California. The Brea facility will be another positive link to our customers.”
