    From what I see in the limited photos provided, it looks like the his “scope” did not match the actual damages. 6 lines on the upper part of the roof with no missing shingles was enough to write an entire roof? I can see why it got revised by someone doing his review. As a 45 year plus IA, it is always understood that you have to support your estimate with photos but I always ask the IA company to let me make any changes that they request and not to make any changes without discussing with me first. Sometimes just discussing your observations and making your point is enough to get things to go through just as your have written them or sometimes you need to add a few more pictures of the damages to support your conclusions. After writing or reviewing 10s of thousands of estimates over the years, there can always be difference of opinions.
