Canal Insurance Adds to Leadership Team

South Carolina-based Canal Insurance Company named Jarrell Hall, assistant vice president – marketing & business development and Linda Lewis, assistant vice president – casualty claims.

Hall assumes the responsibility for overseeing all marketing activities and development of general agent relationships. He joins Canal from CNA, where he spent four years leading the implementation of an excess liability and umbrella underwriting unit in Alabama.

Prior to CNA, he spent 19 years with Chubb, where he held progressive leadership positions in both marketing and underwriting. Hall holds the designation of Certified Professional Insurance Agent.

Lewis takes over responsibility for all commercial auto and general liability claims and special investigations. Prior to joining Canal, she worked for Travelers for seven years as the Atlanta claim center field product line manager for business and personal auto claims, and for Safeco in increasingly responsible claim leadership roles for nearly 20 years. She also holds the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter designation.
