Tennessee’s Highway Patrol and Shelby County officials are announcing dozens of arrests following an identity theft investigation.
A news conference was held Tuesday afternoon in Memphis to discuss details of the investigation, which was done by the state Department of Safety and Homeland Security’s Identity Crimes Unit.
Department of Safety and Homeland Security Commissioner Bill Gibbons, Highway Patrol Lt. Col. Dereck Stewart, Shelby County District Attorney Amy Weirich and Shelby County Sheriff Bill Oldham are scheduled to attend.
