Hinds County had 68 alcohol-related fatalities during the five-year period, compared with 49 in Harrison County.
Jackson County had the third-highest number, with 33 deaths, the same as Panola County.
The Sun Herald reports Mississippi had 3,336 traffic deaths in the five-year period. Of those, 994 were alcohol-related.
