One Gastonia, N.C., police officer recently netted two arrests in a 61/2-hour span — and led the same person to jail both times.
The Gaston Gazette reports Officer J.C. Padgett arrested 27-year-old Kenneth Wayne Bradshaw on two occasions. Both arrests involved traffic accidents.
Padgett arrested Bradshaw for drug possession and driving with a revoked license. Bradshaw posted bond of $2,500 and got out of the Gaston County Jail at 9:21 p.m. Thursday.
At 11:51 p.m., Padgett was called to another wreck, where he found Bradshaw in the same pickup truck which he wrecked earlier. Bradshaw was cited for the same charges again, as well as careless and reckless driving and driving while impaired.
Bradshaw remains jailed under a $50,000 bond. It’s not known if he has an attorney.
