A Hope Mills, N.C., man has been charged with hitting a series of other vehicles as he made his way across Cumberland County.
Police say 33-year-old Terry Chole Marshall was arrested Saturday and charged with multiple counts of hit and run and driving while impaired.
Police say Marshall is suspected in at least five crashes in Fayetteville. State troopers are investigating several other cases that happened outside the city limits.
Authorities say the first crash happened at around 5 p.m. All of the wrecks caused property damage, and police say minor injuries were reported.
It wasn’t known if Marshall had an attorney.
