An Alabama woman is facing a felony charge after police say she set up a robbery at the store where she worked.
The Dothan Eagle reports that 27-year-old Bridgett Ann Pruitt was charged with theft and filing a false police report stemming from the incident Wednesday at the Big Lots where she worked.
Authorities say Pruitt, who was working as a cashier, worked with a gunman who barged into the store just after 10 p.m. Wednesday. They say she confessed to setting up the robbery and stealing more than $1,100.
A second person was also arrested, but his identity was not immediately released.
Pruitt was taken to the Houston County Jail where she was held on $15,000 bond.
