Fire officials in Florida said a lightning strike at a Daytona Beach apartment complex caused $15,000 worth of damage.
No injuries were reported in the Oct. 9 fire.
Lt. Fred Godawa, of the Daytona Beach Fire Department, said a fire investigator believes the blaze started when lightning hit the building’s roof. The fire was burning inside a bathroom wall.
