Am I missing something…I didn’t think that you could be charged with murder unless there was body found or declared dead. She is only missing at this point.
I am sorry for Ms. Rohrbach and her loved ones. I would feel absolutely terrible if I were the person who called the insurance department to report the case she was investigating.
Actually, it has been ID’d as her. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends. I hope that this will bring some closure for them and I pray that he gets what he deserves! I know, I know, innocent until proven guilty but I live in the Charlotte area and they have video footage from a neighboring business where her car was found that actually initially linked him to this horrible crime. They have also stated that he was living above his means which just brings about more questions…
I’ve got to wonder what he was so afraid she’d find out that it was worth killing her over. Worst case scenario, he’s stealing premiums, and he loses his license and gets a little white collar jail time. This is unbelievable!
I agree with PRT. He was hiding something that she must have stumbled upon. He knew it would cost him his agency. So he made a decision that will now cost him the rest of his life.
After I posted my comment I researched the case alittle further. The agency had some problems in the 90’s and in 2004 the revenue dept suspended their operations for failure to file income tax. The investigator probably discovered their business license was suspended.
I also missed the e-mail that everyone is mad at, but I was wondering more details about what the guy allegedly do to this woman? I’m in Iowa and this is the first I hear about this. I do agree that no one deserves to be killed for doing their jobs.

He might have just snapped for some reason. This is amazing.

Sounds like you all have convicted him before the trial. What happended to “innocent until proven guilty?”

Seems to me our suspicions may be warranted.
could be something more happened, like maybe something physical/sexual and he panicked…
