Let’s review the facts. We have a FRAME warehouse full of highly combustible UPHOLSTERED furniture. The building was ENGULFED when the responders arrived. The building WAS NOT sprinklered. NOBODY was trapped inside.

Question: why in the hell would any fire chief send his crew into something like this in the first place? The only reasons I can come up with are gross stupidity or poor training. There was nothing to salvage and no one to save. The focus should have been on protecting the fire from spreading and extinguishing it FROM A SAFE DISTANCE. This was a tragic loss of life for no good reason. The fire department protocols need to be revised.

Your information is incorrect. The Routley Panel has completed their report after speaking with NIOSH and another federal agency. They are not holding up the report to the city. Mayor Joe Riley is holding up the report, as a possible cover up. This has outraged the families of the deceased firefighters, and firefighters from all over the nation. Check “firefighterhourly.com” for the latest information.

Carla…….why are you suggesting Dread’s information is incorrect. He said nothing about the report or it being witheld, just the factual scenario. Suggest you make your remarks in proper context. Thanks.
