Firefighters say two Dandridge. Tenn. businesses have been destroyed in a fire and three more are damaged.
No injuries were reported in the blaze, which fire officials began fighting just after noon Wednesday.
The fire has burned a strip mall, destroying Lindsay’s Market and a chiropractic office. The mall is next to the Dandridge Volunteer Fire Department.
WVLT in Knoxville reported that firefighters asked local residents in Jefferson County to conserve water so they would have enough to battle the blaze.
The town of about 2,000 people is near Norris Lake and 30 miles east of Knoxville.
