This is just yet another f’ing example of big govt. taking care of big business as they both conspire to rip off the average consumer, in a major effort to reduce this country to no more than two classes of people, those who don’t have to work for their money and those who work and still don’t make enough to live.
And they got the nerve to wonder why they got crime rates as high as they are; to me I’m surprised they aren’t higher than what they are.
The company that is [managing] these thieves that took your money, knowing full well they had no intention of ever hold up thier end of the agreement; these are the only people who are actually expecting to recieve any money from this company who stole from us.
So think about that as you go to the polls this fall.

    until…

Paid $1500.00 for an extended warranty on my 2005 Pontiac G6. It went in the shop for over $600.00 in Parking brake repairs. They did the work before the “go ahead” from the warranty company. The repair shop would not give me the car untill I paid them in full. I paid them $680.18, took the car home and Still have not recieved anything from the warranty company. This was eight months ago. I wrote to my Attorny General and he said I was screwed. What does it mean to be licenced, bonded and insured. I thought it meant that if for some reason you went into forclosure or bankruptcy, your insurance company picked up the remaining balance. I guess I’m the stupid one!!!

I purchase a vehicle extended service plan from First National Warranty 11/10/05 for $2045.00. Covered vehicle: 2000 Ford Expedition, current odometer reading:73,396. Coverage plan: expires 4 years from 11/10/2005 or at 133,396 miles, at $50 deductible. Now 2 1/2 years latter at 75,833 miles, I am in need of transmission work on my Ford. They are not sure of the warranty cause the company is filling bankrupt. What are my options?

I bring my car to the dealership to have work done. the work is complete . and the dealership calls the warranty company. They said that the warranty companies backers Capital Assurance, had its assets frozen. So what the F..K am I suppose to do. I’m getting married in november and I really cant be shelling out a $1200.00. When all I really thought I was going to pay my deductable $100.00 and $150.00 for diagnosis which the warranty does not cover. Make sure if you get a warranty that it is a dealers warranty and has a good backer. I learned my lesson, and that is to get a factory extended warranty not a after market warranty. Also the warranty company never called me or sent a letter out saying that this was happening. So who looks like an ****%$# now. And they call you when your late on a paymen. But, when you need your car fix your up sh…its creek.

I have an unpaid claim that was “autorized” and have never been paid.
    Numerous calls to Capital
Assurance with no luck. All they do is give me a phone number that no one ever answers.
I left message with SC Insurance today.
    Some one please respond!

I also got screwed. I have talked with Tom Walace, Ultimate Warranty – 1-800-576-5113, who said claims would be paid although it would take a while. This was on 4/10/08. He gave me a website caarg.org but so far I been unable to bring this website up, We are out a lot of money for monthly payments and also a claim.

They may have to pay claims soon but they will run out of money before they refund your policy since they don’t have to refund policies as long as they pay new claims.

I am in the same boat as all of you are. I did go onto website http://www.capitalassurancerrg.com and print out the package on how all of this mess is suppose to work. It clearly states in there that if you cancel your warranty you will not be eligible for any reimbursement/claims or future monies from this company. I did speak with Gabrille today 5/28 @ 888-792-3495 and was told that they are now paying claims and reimbursements(you have to wait your turn). So we will see-my warranty is with Vehicle Care-I know there are several different companies that are being affected-Vehicle Care says they are now taking care of their customers-we’ll see.

It is encouraging to hear that someone finally got paid. I will continue to wait and hope.
