Whatever happened to ethics and integrity as insurance professionals? How does any company justify internal, undisclosable crimes to avoid servicing the policies we agents sell? When we sell a policy, what we are truly selling is claims service, so to have a claim denied without true basis is a black eye for our industry and makes agents look like they double deal. Our integrity comes into question when the companies we represent reneg or stonewall OUR CLIENTS!
Has anyone noticed these altruistic sisters signed on with Scruggs for $150,000 each per yeat. That is pretty close to what his brother in law Senator makes and a heck of a lot more than they made handling claims
I assume you have proof S.F. should have covered flood claims and that there interpretation of their exclusion was knowingly and intentionally wrong and thus criminal. You are by far either the smartest or dumbest agent I have ever met!
My guess is Scruggs bought the Rigsby sister before they defected to his camp. Like, with the Paul Minor/judicial bribery case, Scruggs knew how to cover his backside before he began buying judicial favors. Those women did something wrong, knowing they would have protection. No one would have stepped out on that limb without knowing having a safety net to fall in. The proof may be in that pudding.
Dickie… I\’m probably one of the smarter and more ethical agents you would meet. After 35 years of being in the insurance business I have participated in seminars to help end insurance fraud in MA I have provided comsumer forums and I host a radio show to discuss insurance and claims etc. I try to show how important we professional agents are and that we expect our companies to respond to our clients when they purchase proper coverage. I am not implying that SF should pay for flood claims when only homeowners coverage is in place. I provide both HO and flood coverage for clients in flood zones. However, if a company internally circumvents paying a claim without legitimate reason then we agents look like thieves. A local agent is currently in a major lawsuit after selling flood insurance to condo owners who own condo units below ground level and then having their claims denied as the master policy superceded their coverage negating payment… remember, our clients are our families, our friends and our neighbors. We owe them the courtesy and professional support that our license implies we offer.
I\’ll take that as a yes you are the stupidest agent-you obvioulsy have no proof and no internal inof or understanding og the specifics of thier decisions but act as if you do–and you think you \”know\” these things and that you are \”smart\” typical agent!
Thanks for showing your professional behavior and attitude. Some of us don\’t need to sink that low… good luck to you in whatever you do and hopefully you do not represent us professional agents where ever you live… the public deserves better!
wow what world do you live in -? Once again you offer no proof to back up your wild accusations why yes I am professional I will not comment on s.f.\’s actions because I do not profess to know what they did and why and if that then equates to criminal acts–I know a lawyer paying some employees 150K a year take information whether originals or copies is not professional. Why do you only pick on the insurance company and not the lawyer–especially if you are an agent? I do not represent SF but am a policyholder mostly becuase GIECO claims handling left me with a very bad taste in my mouth for them.. S.F has always been responsive to me if they screw me over I will find another company-that\’s america baby! I certainly would not rely on any agent to direct my business because all that I have encountered have proven to be sales people only (like you they possess very little knowledge of insurance and the american tort system)of copurse they also have a finacial interest, commission, overides, contingencies, etc. such a noble profession you are in and you represent it very well–better than I could ever explain. Thank you for confirming all of my sterotypical beliefs!

You two go to your rooms until you can discuss this in a civil manner. The point is these ladies got rich by spying for Scruggs.
