Following an investigation into claims that he violated several sections of the Mississippi Insurance Code, Philip Minga of Amory, Miss., voluntarily surrendered his insurance license, according to officials.
Commissioner of Insurance George Dale said Minga also agreed to cease soliciting or negotiating any insurance in the state and will conduct no other business for which a license is required.
Minga, president of First American Financial Group Inc., in Amory, surrendered his license on Oct. 27.
