Can you become an attorney in Miss without an education? I know the reading skill level in the south is well behind the rest of the country, but I thought college graduates had to be able to read (as in the insurance contract and exclusions). I guess having a 4.0 in Mississippi refers to their blood alcohol level.

What else can you expect from judges & attorneys. They attend law school which is staffed by nutty professors. Especially the nutty professors in the Ivy covered
schools, Harvard, Yale, and the like kind.

Before calling not only one person but an entire profession and region childish names, perhaps you should consider that not one of you knows the facts behind these lawsuits. Perhaps the Judge\’s home was destroyed by wind, like thousands of others, yet NW is refusing to pay? If a contract is a contract, don\’t the policyholders have rights too, even if the policyholder is a judge? Aren\’t the courts the place where contractual disputes should be resolved.. where the FACTS can be determined?

If this case involved some other carriers, ok, I would say your right.
When this involves Nationwide, I would back off a bit. People in the industry who know how insurers payout usually don\’t have much bad to say about Nationwide. I would be surprised if this case involved an error on the insurers part. Becouse it involves a Lawyer, I would say it is more likely that it is the Greed that has screwed up our legal system beyond repair. Of the Two, Nationwide or Attorneys, I would say that Nationwide by comparision has a very Favorable reputation, where\’as Attorneys have earned a distinct distain in our society. Well, you asked: How do you Know. This about sum\’s it up fella.
BTW, are you an Attorney ?
