I work in the insurance industry and we used to write with American Superior, any refunds that will be issued may take months and will be subject to a $100 deductible, per the Department of Insurance.

I see that someone has referenced a form to fill out. Does anyone know if the unused premium is being sent back automatically, or do policyholders need to apply for their refund?

    Thanks.

We paid our full premium in November…we were not given any information from our agent or American Superior that there was a problem. I’ve had to pay for half of the new premium with Northpointe and am still waiting for my refund. Reading the previous notes on this site I’m wondering about the form that was mentioned, is it required or will we just receive a check?
