Miami Agent’s License Revoked

A Miami agent charged with failing to return a refund to a customer and with writing worthless checks has lost his license to sell insurance, according to the Florida Department of Financial Services.

The department revoked the insurance and adjuster licenses of Pablo Antonio Santos, Jr. Santos was charged in January with allegedly failing to return a refund issued to a customer and with writing $2,860 in worthless checks to Finco Financial Group. Finco has since obtained a judgment against Santos in the amount of $5,250 for the worthless checks and other reported debts owed by him.

Santos has been licensed as a general lines agent and an independent all-lines adjuster since 1995.

His licenses are revoked for a period of two years, after which he may reapply.
