As Oklahoma residents continue to deal with earthquakes, the American Red Cross is reminding residents of a phone app that tells them what to do before, during and after a temblor.
Oklahoma has been experiencing a significant jump in the number of earthquakes in recent years, and researchers are still trying to determine why.
Red Cross spokesman for Central and Western Oklahoma Ken Garcia says the app allows users to receive earthquake notifications and monitor activity where family and friends reside. The app allows users to use a single touch to message family and friends that they are okay.
The free app is available in English or Spanish and available for iPhones and Androids.
