Thieves wearing white hazardous materials suits and masks often used by painters have robbed a Houston-area jewelry store.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday announced the search continues for five suspects.
Nobody was hurt in the holdup Monday night at a Jared the Galleria of Jewelry store in The Woodlands. Investigators believe at least one of the suspects had a gun.
Officials say the suspects arrived by car, entered the front of the business and broke several glass display cases – stealing an undetermined amount of jewelry.
The sheriff’s office says the suspects ran out the back door and fled in a white SUV parked at a nearby gas station.
