Louisiana State Police have arrested a Lake Charles couple for stealing $165,000 worth of cars, trailers and farm equipment in Louisiana and Texas.
Troopers tell the American Press 49-year-old Katherine Larocca and 51-year-old Ronnie Larocca were arrested Tuesday after a nearly 1 1/2-year investigation.
In October 2011, police say detectives received information about stolen property from a LoJack asset tracking system. Earlier this month, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Louisiana obtained a grand jury indictment.
Each was charged with one count of criminal conspiracy and three counts of sale or receipt of a stolen vehicle.
It was unclear whether the Laroccas have attorneys.
