Emergency officials say four workers have been hurt when the wooden frame of a one-story structure they were building collapsed.
The Sulphur Springs Fire Department says the accident happened Friday morning. Firefighter David James says the workers suffered apparent minor injuries but all were transported to a hospital to be examined.
James says the framing of the building was nearly complete with the walls and trusses in place. He says all of the injured workers had managed to free themselves by the time firefighters arrived.
James says authorities are trying to determine what caused the collapse. He had no immediate details on who owns the property or the construction company. Names of the workers haven’t been released.
Sulphur Springs is 75 miles northeast of Dallas.
