Authorities are investigating whether arson was the cause of a fire that destroyed a former puzzle factory in Hope, Ark.
Authorities say the fire broke out Tuesday night at the former Fink and Co. building in downtown Hope. Fire Chief Dale Glanton tells the Hope Star that it appears the fire was intentionally set in the middle of the building.
Glanton says the vacant building contained cardboard, paper and puzzle pieces – all of which could be used as fuel to start a blaze.
No one was injured in the fire. The building is considered a total loss.
The building has been vacant for several years but was once used as a jigsaw puzzle factory for Fink and Co.
