Officials say a deer died after it jumped through a glass window of a Hot Springs, Ark., art gallery.
The whitetail deer smashed through the window of Gallery Central LLC on Central Avenue at about noon Sunday. The building’s owner, Linda Palmer, says the animal jumped through the window and got trapped inside the building.
The Sentinel-Record reports that the deer’s throat was cut by the broken glass. The animal died in the gallery’s bathroom.
Palmer says four paintings were ruined. Damage to the building was estimated at more than $1,000.
