Officials say two construction workers are dead after a crane collapsed on the University of Texas at Dallas campus.
A message posted on the school’s website said the accident happened Saturday afternoon while the crane was being dismantled. University spokeswoman Katherine Morales said she had no further details.
There were no immediate reports of other injuries. The school encouraged students and the community to stay away from the side of campus where the crane was being used during construction on an arts and technology building.
