Investigators say fire has damaged a West Texas church in a blaze being investigated as arson.
The El Paso Fire Department says no one was injured Tuesday night in a blaze that caused about $2,000 in damage.
Authorities say the Baptist church was unoccupied when fire burned an exterior door of the basement and some bales of straw inside the structure. Fire department officials say the interior sustained minor smoke damage.
An investigator has determined that the fire originated outside the basement doors and was intentional. No one has been arrested.
Further details on the church were not immediately released.
