The manager of a Shreveport, La., restaurant has been accused of stealing money from the business.
The Caddo Parish sheriff says 40-year-old Deidra Jenkins was arrested Monday. Authorities say the investigation centered on eight cash deposits totaling $3,100 that Jenkins was supposed to make for the drive-in restaurant.
The sheriff says investigators believe the alleged theft was tied to gambling.
It couldn’t be determined if Jenkins has an attorney.
