Authorities say a man at a business next to a South Texas gun shop has suffered a facial wound after a bullet was accidentally fired through the shared wall.
Jourdanton police Chief Eric Kaiser says a worker at The Bullet Hole was unloading a pistol Tuesday afternoon when the gun discharged.
Police say an instructor at a neighboring gymnastics club who was struck was transported to a San Antonio hospital. A University Hospital spokeswoman told The Associated Press that Joseph Gonzalez was in stable condition Wednesday.
Police are trying to determine whether the victim was hit by the ricocheting bullet, a fragment or other debris.
Police do not expect to charge the gun shop worker.
