A painter is dead after backing one step too many on the roof of a Houston school building and falling 40 feet to his death.
Spring Branch school district Police Chief Chuck Brawner tells the Houston Chronicle that the man was working on top of the Spring Forest Middle School when he “stepped back a couple of steps, over the edge of the roof line.”
Brawner said the man’s identity hasn’t been established.
