Low life people who attempt to file fraudulent claims are nothing more than common thieves. Their scam only serves to increase premiums for honest property owners. Some people have no honesty or integrity. They should be held accountable.
The roofing companies that help to perpetuate these claims should be barred from doing business in the state as well. The same applies to public adjusters and anyone else involved in this shady state of affairs.
Obviously the answer, in a pun fashion, is “EL PASO”!
Of course, the main point in this story is not shady (no pun intended!) roofers, but people in general who have submitted claims for hail damage that is either excessive, or non-existant, be it for home or auto/property damage…
just got off the phone with a lady asking me to provide a bid for her roof…..ask was she wanting to replace roof or just wanting bid?? she wants bids because she feels she can get the roof put on cheaper than the inurance monies she has received….i explained i would not give a bid….also went on to tell her i would replace her roof for the monies allowed by the carrier, did not cut corners on materials,do not reuse vent caps-pipe jacks, and all installs are handled by trained knowledgeable intallers AND would warranty the service/install. she stated again she felt she could get it put on cheaper and keep some money!! i did not go into the recoverables and the fact she can get some un insured idiot to put her roof on without any protection….like the one i looked at yesterday that was installed 3 weeks ago but due to the high winds here was missing a 10×12 square in the middle of the main roof??!! nailing appeared 2-3 nails per shingle….roofer can’t be reached, phone is dead or off?? etc … thanked her told her when she wanted a roof to call me back…..regulation is needed to stop the this type bs

Are the roofers, creating hail damage, or is it from fraudulent invoices and giving kick backs to the home owners

Here’s the answer: El Paso
No takers on responding to “what is the question?”?. The answer is El Paso.
When state has such penalty why would someone make fraudulent claim?
It is job of adjuster to assess the loss.
and it is not difficult to find out whether the claim is genuine or fraud.
The hailstorm of such magnitude will always result in such huge losses.
The question is: What does a Mexican quarterback do on 3rd and long?
